Leos are the most dominant, spontaneous, creative and extroverted of all the zodiac signs. As a whole, Leos are ambitious, enjoy material wealth, courageous, strong willed, positive, independent, straightforward, self-confident and self-controlled. They are natural leaders who know how to organize, delegate and support others. They enjoy material wealth as well as a happy romantic life. They are big hearted, faithful and are generous with money unless when asked for it. Leos operate on their own terms and when they give their word, it becomes law. They are proud of what they build whether it is a successful business or career, material wealth or a comfortable home.

Leos are uncomplicated; know exactly what they want and using all their talents usually succeed in getting whatever they are after. They are idealistic, humane and have a powerful intelligence. They have a broad philosophy and sometimes are devoutly religious as they approach it with complete sincerity.

Should Leos be working their sign in the negative, they can be very unpleasant people. They can be arrogant, prideful, angry, self-centered, greedy, egotistical, snobbish, overbearing and completely intolerant of others. For Leos born between July 19 and July 25, emotional mood swings may become extreme and volatile. They can be shy one moment and dancing on the table in the next. Their life is constantly moving, changing or in flux. Whether they are traveling, moving homes, changing careers, playing sports or shifting thoughts and emotions, these vibrant, energetic and exciting individuals constantly seeking and overcoming challenges. These Leos need to learn stability, self-discipline and to find a calm center. They need to pace themselves for the marathon of life.

If a Leo’s birthday falls between July 26 and August 2, they tend to want to assert themselves and be taken seriously. They have good leadership qualities but do not necessarily want material rewards. They are very self-aware and they work on developing their own strengths and abilities. Whether they are pursuing intellectual, physical and/or material goals, they are tenacious and determined. These Leos are asked to taken on many weighty responsibilities and make decisions that affect others. They are capable of handling these challenges but may loose their own goals and private interests while fulfilling their responsibilities. Naturally optimistic, they do not understand other people’s moodiness or negativity.

Leos born between August 3 and August 10 enjoy constructively using their strength to take on challenging activities. They are tenacious, goal-oriented, determined, faithful, trustworthy, and have perseverance. They are the faithful protectors and champions of the underdog. When it comes to exclusions and condescending attitudes, they will side with the common person over the “privileged.” On the other hand, they consider people who do not meet their standards, (are insincere, phony, affected, or lazy), a “waste of time”. These Leos like to build a well-defined and structured life with the maximum rewards for the least amount of effort.

Those born between August 11 and August 18 are natural born leaders and rulers. Though some Leos enjoy the power of manipulating or bossy others around, most enjoy leading through their ideas, ethics and good example. These Leos are emotionally complex with a fiery energy that can explode in activity or even anger if not controlled. They are attractive, sexually magnetic, self-confident and sensitive. They need the love and understanding of friends and family as well as to feel they “fit in.” These Leos need to act out and play a starring role in their own life.
