When SilverBack Technologies asked for my help in
designing a 3-fold self mailer,
I stepped up to the challenge. Not only
did I design the mailer with an insert tab to
hold an enclosed CD but I
also had to create the artwork for the front fold.
The gorilla picture is actually comprised of 8 different photographs
that were layered,
blended and painted. The gorilla was one layer, the glasses another, the
book a third layer,
the logo a fourth layer, the computer a fifth layer, the picture on the
computer screen
a sixth layer and the jungle fronds were the seven layer while the type
was the eighth layer.
The campaign was a hit and resulted in a follow up postcard.

I worked with The Gallery Connection for a few years
and produced a number of
newspaper ads, flyers and a four color brochure as pictured above. I
also created and
maintained their website until they sold their business in 2003.

Roll Systems is a company based in Burlington,
MA and have clients all over the world.
This simple piece was designed in 1997.
